Family Fun at Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

This historic amusement park has been delighting visitors for over a century with wooden roller coasters, carnival games and the delightful Looff Carousel that dates from 1911. Along with heart-pounding rides, you will find live music, tasty treats and a wonderful seaside atmosphere. Entrance to the fairgrounds is always free.   • How many rides are at Santa Cruz Boardwalk?

    From thrill rides like Fireball and Cliff Hanger to classics like the Log Flume and Pirate Ship, the Santa Cruz Boardwalk features more than 40 rides and attractions. There are also plenty of rides for the little ones. Don't miss the historic Looff Carousel built in 1911 and the Giant Dipper Rollercoaster that opened in 1924.
  • WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT THE BOARDWALK?

    This famous attraction comes alive in the summer with extended hours and lots of great events. Many evenings the park is open until 11 pm. During the off-season, the weekends are still a good time to visit the Boardwalk, but there are limited hours, so check the calendar for details.
